There is plenty to do in England outside of London, even trips that only involve about an hour or two of driving to get there. The more well known options I’ll discuss are Stonehenge, Bath and Windsor Castle. Some destinations travelers may not have heard of include the Crop Circle Exhibition and Information Centre and Rendlesham Forest.
Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, is only an hour West of London. From there, it takes another hour to get to Stonehenge, one of the 7 wonders of the world. Bath is further West, nearing the coast, and hosts ancient Roman Baths. Stonehenge and Bath are both ancient iconic locations that anyone visiting London should take the time to check out.
The Crop Circle Exhibition and Information Centre is situated between Stonehenge and Bath. Tourists can view a huge, unusual crop circle pattern that pop up on occasion in the English countryside. This phenomenon is unexplained and happens all over the world. Another spot to visit for UFO aficionados is the Rendlesham Forest, which is to the East of London by about 2 hours. Rendlesham is a quiet Forest area that has hosted a number of UFO sightings. It’s a great place to spend time in nature as well.
